Not executing a will results in a deceased estate being administered in terms of the intestate succession, which in itself results in its own and
sometimes negative consequences. Furthermore, it also results in the deceased not nominating the executor of his choice. This can cause an unnecessary delay in the administration of the deceased estate and also financial distress, which will in turn result in dire consequences for those left behind.
